In previous studies, active suspension system in conventional powertrain systems was investigated. This paper presents the application of active suspension system in Parallel hybrid electric vehicles as a novel idea. The main motivation for this study is investigation of the potential advantages of this application over the conventional one. For this purpose, a simultaneous simulation is developed that integrates the powertrain and active suspension systems in a unified media where the power and input data between two systems are exchanged. Using this concurrent simulation tool, the impact of the active suspension load on the internal combustion engine response is studied for both conventional and hybrid electric configurations. The simulation results presented in this study show that there are quite remarkable advantages for application of the active suspension in Parallel hybrid electric vehicles in comparison with the conventional one.

In this paper, we study different methods of solving joint redundancy-availability optimization for series-Parallel systems with multi-state components. We analyzed various effective factors on system availability in order to determine the optimum number and version of components in each sub-system and consider the effects of improving failure rates of each component in each sub-system and improving reliability of each sub-system. The target is to determine optimum values of all variables for improving the availability level and decreasing the total cost of the system. At first, the exact values of variables are determined using a mathematical model, then, the results of SAParallel, VDO-Parallel and genetic algorithms are compared with the exact solution.

One Translation tools can make use of an interactive environment to solve translation errors before appearing the output. One of the most prominent of these tools is translation memories. They help the translator to automatically or interactively enter the intra or inter- text repetitive units in different levels into the target texts. In this paper a search method named "space- based reduction search" which uses using spaces between words is introduced. The main goal is to maximize the use of Parallel corpus resources. We want to show that this search method can significantly enhance the chance of finding matches for various segments of input sentences; hence applicable in a Sub- Sentential Translation Memory (SSTM) system without running automatic alignment tools. This method has been tested on a small portion of English- Persian Parallel corpus. The evaluations based on standards of recall and precision showed that the method Increases the Parallel- finding chance of sub- sentential units to a high degree.

In this paper for solving Toeplitz system by PCG, two Parallel algorithms based on mesh and hypercube are given. We have shown that using these algorithms reduce of arithmetical operations. Also, we investigate speed up and efficiency for these algorithms.
